i like these pictures.
i remember when i read the article that accompanied this fashion/art photo shoot, Wangechi commented on how she was a bit worried for her art career because of being a mother. but she cited Louise Bourgoise as a woman artist who had managed both, though taking some time to do so.
and now they are both inspiring me for my next project!

ReplyDeleteI like how the things you've chosen, altered by these two artists, (the cupboard full of glass, the fragile long legged kitchen chairs )are so vulnerable, so near to losing it, yet also homey and there for you always.
The comments about motherhood link it all for me.
