Underwater Relics

After I finished using a blowtorch on various metal pieces, I realized that the collection appeared as some sort of underwater excavation.

I remember a summer where Jay and Grace scoured the bottom of the lake and found old stove legs, broken bottles and blue willow china at our cottage.

I was too scared to go so deep.

Next summer instead of just looking completely ethereal and mermaidish....

we could have a really fun photoshoot?

Straight to Work

Andy and I got back from out summer long adventure across the US and back, to an apartment feeling far less than homey - we moved (like the rest of Montreal) on July 1st - and then left for our 2 month trip on the 2nd.

Due to our luxuriously long va-ca.....we both had to get right to work.
I will post trip and new apt pics eventually.

On our new back balcony, I used a blow torch to transform some old metal pieces.

I organized stuff. and made more of it.

These particular shapes are really popular, but I have started exploring with new shapes as well....

come back to see them!
